BRIEF OVERVIEW OF CONNECTIONS FROM ALBENGA TO ALASSIO
The Via Julia Augusta – the Roman road that connects Alassio and Albenga – is a hiking classic in the Baia del Sole: a simple, charming route overlooking the sea, where you can sense the weight of history, including remains of the imperial era, a Romanesque church of the ninth century and the Gallinara island is almost close enough to touch.
The excursion lasts about two hours on foot or by bicycle.
